They have a thermal-magnetic trip unit which provides both long-time & instantaneous trip functions and standard box lug terminals ideal for copper & aluminium wires. • Eaton CHB Series circuit breakers normally allow current to flow. In this state, the current-carrying contacts come into contact with each other.
• A ground fault can be caused by faulty wiring, damaged appliances or worn insulation.
• When this device detects a ground fault, the contacts move apart, thus tripping the circuit.
• After troubleshooting the issue, users can turn the circuit back ON by resetting it.
