Connector tools are used for safe insertion and extraction of terminals from connector housing. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of these tools from brands like Jonard, Cable Prep and Ideal. Security shield tools from Jonard feature an extended shank for use with torque wrenches and heat treated steel construction for durability. Cable Prep offers centre conductor cleaners & bevellers to remove burrs that damage the connectors. They have long-lasting reversible teeth that do not require sharpening.
The installation process for die connectors can vary based on the type of connector used. Compression connectors are installed by squeezing onto the wire using a special tool, whereas crimp connectors are crimped onto the wire using a crimping tool.
