FDayton vertical band saws are ideal for making accurate cuts on plyboards, struts, conduits, angle iron / copper stocks and threaded surfaces. These saws, while feeding the workpiece, are designed to keep the blade's passage in a stationary mode for maintaining a uniform cutting action. Capable of offering greater torque levels than cordless tools, Dayton corded vertical band saws feature a rack-and-pinion blade guide adjustment, a cast-iron table and an adjustable rip fence for making precise angular cut, even on hard materials. Selected models further come equipped with a 4 leg stand for maintaining structural rigidity and an LED readout facility to display the operation progress. These band saws have long and sharp blades, ideal for cutting woods, sheet metals, pipes and tubing with high accuracy and precision. Their blades have a reinforced tooth design with evenly distributed tooth load for a uniform cutting action. With a swivelling head and a stationary base, these band saws can create cuts at multiple angles.
These band saws can also cut irregular or curved shapes, and some models feature an efficient cooling system to keep the machine and blades at an optimum temperature.
