They also eliminate water hammering and pipe vibration, thus safeguarding other equipment like filters, sensors, seals and gauges. Their simple design allows for quick installation and easy in-line maintenance. They are made of stainless steel for durability and come equipped with a BUNA-N / EPDM / PTFE / Viton bladder that separates the process fluid from the gas charge within the dampener as well as offers shock absorption.
