Left-hand inserts are ideal for repairing stripped threads or creating new threads in a drilled hole to install left-hand threaded fasteners. They provide more strength, versatility & resilience than the fasteners installed inside traditional threaded holes. These inserts have left-handed threads (also called reverse threads) for specialised applications like automotive, heating & plumbing pipes and gas supply valves, where right-hand threaded fasteners would loosen due to pressure.
These inserts have widely spaced threads to start tightening easily.
