How are Dayton nesting merchandise platform trucks assembled?

  • Install the rigid casters on the narrow end of the platform truck and the swivel casters on the wide end.
  • Place each caster into the bracket and insert a long shaft through the holes, securing it with a lock pin.
  • Attach the platform to the frame by securing the two hooks on the platform to the round bar located at the narrow end of the frame.
  • Lift the platform near the wide end of the frame and place the springs in the retaining holes.
  • Make sure that the springs are inside the upper and lower retaining holes, then lower the platform down on the springs.
  • Insert threaded ends of the handle through the holes at the bottom of the handle sockets on the frame.
  • Secure these handles by installing lock nuts on the threaded ends, without overtightening.
